We bring the RCAS mission to life through vibrant worship, life-changing discipleship, and local outreach. Whether through our weekend services or mid-week ministries, our team is committed to "caring deeply" for our congregation and "moving fast" to meet the needs of our city, creating a grace-filled environment where everyone can discover their God-given purpose.

Overview: This is a full-time pastoral role overseeing student ministries at Regent Christian Academy on behalf of Horizon Church. Regent Christian Academy is a ministry of Horizon, and so this role works across both the school and the church as one connected expression. You’ll be leading the spiritual formation of students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, helping them grow in their faith and take ownership of it as they mature. This is a unique opportunity to step in and build something that isn’t fully formed yet. The goal is to create a clear and consistent discipleship pathway for students, where what they experience at school and at church reinforces each other.

Why This Role Matters

  • You will work with church and school leadership to help shape the spiritual direction of students

  • You will help build a strong connection between church, school, and families so students experience one consistent message

  • You will facilitate the development of a clear discipleship pathway from early childhood through graduation

  • You will invest in and support the development of student leaders who live out their faith in real ways

  • You will help guide students from belief to ownership to a sense of calling

Core Competencies

  • Build and lead a unified K–12 student ministry across the school

  • Establish a clear, scalable discipleship pathway across all grade levels

  • Integrate worship, discipleship, and missions into everyday student life

  • Work with Pastoral Staff and School Admin to align the spiritual life of Horizon Church and RCAS into one ministry expression

  • Develop leaders (staff, volunteers, students) to sustain and grow the ministry

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build the Ministry (Strategy & Systems)

    • Refine and further develop a K-12 student ministry by building on existing strengths while implementing a more cohesive strategy and structure to advance our vision.

    • Define the discipleship pathway (K-7, 8-12 → beyond graduation)

    • Establish clear rhythms: weekly, seasonal, and annual ministry moments

    • Would work with Pastoral and Admin team to set the spiritual direction through themes, teaching, and priorities

    2. Lead People (Multiply Leaders)
