BIO

AJ Crocker has spent more than two decades helping young people follow Jesus and equipping the adults who serve them. He has spoken at camps, conferences, retreats, leadership events, and youth worker training gatherings across Canada, and has contributed video-based teaching resources for RightNow Media and other ministry organizations.

For 20 years, AJ provided leadership to Youth Quake, one of Canada's largest youth ministry conferences, now serving more than 1,700 high school students annually. During that time, he served as Director before mentoring and transitioning leadership to his successor, then moving into executive oversight of the event. His passion for discipleship, leadership development, and spiritual formation has shaped both his ministry and professional career.

Professionally, AJ spent 17 years serving in Christian education at Briercrest Christian Academy, College & Seminary. Beginning as a High School Chaplain and later serving as Vice-President, he invested deeply in discipleship, spiritual formation, leadership development, and mentoring young leaders. Throughout his career, he developed emerging professionals, empowered others with meaningful leadership responsibility, and provided leadership in enrollment, marketing, communications, and institutional advancement.

Today, AJ serves as Executive Director of ACSI Western Canada, supporting and resourcing Christian schools across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. He is passionate about spiritual formation and discipleship within K–12 Christian education and believes Christian schools are uniquely positioned to help young people develop a deep and enduring faith. His work focuses on helping schools flourish as communities that form students in both the truth and way of Jesus.

AJ holds a BA in Youth Ministry and an MBA in Digital Marketing. He and his wife Cheryl, an ACSI teacher, have three children in grades 2, 3, and 9. They live in the small prairie community of Caronport, Saskatchewan. AJ is a devoted (and long-suffering) Toronto Maple Leafs fan, a sneaker-head-on-a-budget, and spends much of his free time cheering his kids on from hockey rinks and dance auditoriums across the Prairies.
