HCOS has an opening for a Learning Groups – LG Registrar. This is a full-time, remote position, working 40 hours per week, with occasional evening hours as needed. The primary purpose of this position is to provide office support and assistance to the Learning Groups team. Job Description

HCOS has an opening for an Academic Advisor. This is a part-time, remote, position, working 20 hours per week. The primary purpose of this position is to intake and support Innovations Program students with course planning and grad related information including administrative tasks, participating in regional teams and helping to build the culture of HCOS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and contribute towards the success of the division, in conjunction with the Innovations administration

  • Foster and maintain positive relationships between parents, students, teachers and learning supports staff as well as within school-wide, regional and divisional teams.

  • Communicate Innovations program information regularly to students and families

  • Work with the Registrar’s office to interview prospective families and enroll Innovations Program students

  • Oversee the educational plans of HCOS students in the Lower Mainland from Grade 10 through to Graduation

  • Advise and assign students to courses

  • Monitor overall grad program student progress

  • Participate in CREW programming including Careers classes

  • Oversee and manage support of Learning Services students in collaboration with the

  • Inclusive Education Academic Advisor team

  • Attend Student at Risk Team (SRT) meetings as applicable

This is a full-time, remote position, working 40 hours/week.  The primary purpose of this position is to support the development and execution of marketing and communication initiatives at HCOS and StudyForge that enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and promote organizational programs and services. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and communications strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media campaigns across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) to increase engagement and reach

  • Update and maintain the organization’s websites and blogs with fresh, engaging content

  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives using tools like Google Analytics or social media insights

  • Draft email campaigns

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and branding

  • Assist with other communications and marketing-related tasks as needed

Community Connections (CC) are in person learning opportunities that are typically one-half to one full day per week, usually between 12 and 24 weeks.
