The Director of Auxiliary Programs is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing PA’s before and after-school care as well as leading the development and implementation of our international programs to focus on developing students’ spiritual growth and sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management

• Manage the programs to ensure a safe and secure environment.

• Directly supervise children when necessary.

Human Resources

• Responsible for the training of auxiliary program employees.

Administration

• Coordinate and organize registration for auxiliary programs (class rosters, processing of forms and confirmation letters, parent communication, etc.).

• Maintain the auxiliary program database.

Job Description

HCOS has an opening for a Learning Groups – Office Assistant. This is a part-time, remote position, working 28 hours per week. This is a temporary, 12-month role maternity-leave coverage role. The primary purpose of this position is to provide office support and assistance to the Learning Groups team. This role also involves working as a member of the Learning Groups Office Team and closely with Learning Groups Administrators, Coordinators and families.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide office support to the LG team, personnel and families in alignment with KCCS and HCOS Mission, Vision and Values.

  • Participate in regular virtual team meetings and occasional face-to-face meetings.

  • Areas of oversight include:
    - Maintain LG data entries and reconciliation of LG revenue
    - Posting expenses associated with Learning Groups budgets
    - Prepare LG Team Employee Reimbursement Forms and LG Team Visa reconciliations
    - Update and maintain spreadsheets associated with LG Finance
    - Assist with reports as needed
    - Purchase items for the LG Team and Learning Group budgets as needed
    - Assistance to the LG Team as needed

OVERVIEW
