  • Collect observations and share relevant information with the support team to help monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.

  • Collaborate with teachers, Inclusive Education staff, and families to support the student’s individualized goals and well-being.

  • Maintain a calm, supportive environment that promotes safety, positive behaviour, and student dignity

  • Communicate regularly with staff regarding the student’s needs and participate in relevant meetings or training.


Job Requirements

We are looking for someone who has the following qualities:

  • Background working in Education, EA Support, Behaviour Intervention, or with children/youth

  • Professionals with non-EA specific credentials are encouraged to also apply (psychology, behaviour analysis, social work, coaching, mathematics, etc)

  • A valid Certified Educational Assistant certificate (or training in process) is considered an asset

  • Subject matter knowledge in the applicable grade level or willingness to learn
