Teacher Conventions & Administrator Board Conference
Plans are well under way for the ACSI Western Canada events to be held in the 2018/2019 school year. With plenty of space for exhibiting, you may wish to consider being part of the conventions planned for our teachers, school administrators and board members.
Exhibitors will be hosted at the following events:
BC Teacher Convention, Cornerstone Christian Academy, Abbotsford, October 5, 2018 (Projected Attendance: 250-300) [Event Finished]
AB Teacher Convention, Glenmore Christian Academy, Calgary, October 18–19, 2018 (Projected Attendance: 450-500) [Event Finished]
Administrator Board Conference, Banff Park Lodge, Banff, AB, November 23–24, 2018 (Projected Attendance: 100) [Event Finished]
MB Teacher Convention, Linden Christian School, Winnipeg, February 15, 2019 (Projected Attendance: 190) [Event Finished]
This year Exhibitor Registration will be different.
Instead of completing a form at this time of year for all events, you will register for each event on its own. We will send out information approximately two months prior to each event explaining the registration process. Then you will register as an exhibitor for each event as it approaches. Registration will be completed online to make the process as quick as possible.
The exhibiting fee entitles each exhibitor to a table (approximately 2 m long x 1 m wide) together with a chair, access to electricity (if indicated) and all of the functions that are part of the conference (including lunch, coffee and snacks). Please bring an extension cord if you require electricity.
Member Colleges will receive up to a 50% discount on exhibit fees.
Student Leadership Conferences—ACSI Member Colleges/Universities
This year again we are planning to help you promote your programs more visibly at our student events. Each year we host student leadership retreats in each of the four provinces across western Canada. The date and location for each one is listed below. We want to invite you to send a representative from your institution to attend so they can meet with students and answer questions they might have about what is offered at your college or university. Depending on the province there will either be a panel time or an opportunity during a general session for the representative to have 3-5 minutes to promote your institution.
We will designate an area at the camp where displays can be set up and literature distributed. The only cost will be for meals and accommodations (if the representative chooses to stay overnight). Your college/university membership fees will cover additional costs of using the space. We believe that some of our students may be considering attending your university/college. These events will give them an opportunity to learn more about your institution and identify the post-secondary school that fits their future goals.
