Job Description
Pacific Academy is inviting applications from qualified individuals for a 0.5 FTE part-time, temporary Middle School Teacher position. This position will commence in August 2026 and continue through June 30, 2027.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Successful candidates should:
Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
Be fluent in oral and written English
Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively, and be willing to cooperate in the planning and implementation of project based units with the grade team
Have experience or willingness to participate in outdoor education planning and trips (i.e. Hiking, canoeing, snowshoeing)
Teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to, grade level core subjects (Faith and Learning, Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Social Studies and Outdoor Education)
