Job Description
Pacific Academy is seeking trained applicants interested in joining our school team to provide support for students.
Pacific Academy is seeking qualified applicants to join our school team in supporting student learning. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to foster student growth and development.
Responsibilities may include:
Provide various push-in and pull-out support to students with diverse learning needs
Assist with the implementation of accommodations based on a child’s IEP under the direction of the Case Manager and/or teacher
Work as part of a team of Education Assistants
Assist students with emotional regulation.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Education Assistant certificate
Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome and other diverse needs an asset
Criminal Record Check
Understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
Friendly, flexible, self-motivated, team player
Fluent in oral and written English
