Job Description
We are looking for an independent contractor who is certified to teach in BC for our Kelowna Community Connections+ program location. Community Connections Plus (CC+) are in person learning opportunities that are one full day per week for 30 weeks where students collaborate in a class setting with a home-education flavour with a focus on meaningful and hands-on learning activities. CC+ classes are led by BC certified teachers fully responsible for covering all CC+ course outcomes.
Art Education, Science, Social Studies (Grades 8/9)
0.26 FTE, one day (Thursday) on-site for 30 weeks at Mission Creek Alliance Church 2025-26 school year
Job Requirements
BC Certified Teacher
Previous experience teaching relevant subjects
Ability to build relationships and work relationally with students, parents, coordinator and other team members
Flexible attitude towards adapting to students and situation
