Position Title: Bus Driver
Job Status: On-call

As a central division of the Society, Regent Christian Academy (RCA) is our flagship campus-based school, serving the community through our Sullivan and Cloverdale campuses in Surrey, BC. We bring the RCAS mission to life through a vibrant, in-person learning community where students from Preschool through Grade 12 engage in rigorous academics, competitive athletics, and the fine arts. Key Responsibilities:
As a Bus Driver at RCA, you are often the first and last face our students see each day. You will serve the community through our Sullivan and Cloverdale campuses in Surrey, BC, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment during transport.
Safety First: Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes while conducting diligent pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Ensure the safety of all students during transport, from the moment they board at the Sullivan or Cloverdale campuses until they reach their destination.
Student Care: Ensure the well-being of all students, maintaining order and enforcing safety rules with a "whole-child" development focus.
Environment Management: Handle student behavior with patience, composure, and a Christ-centered approach.Professional Communication: Maintain open and professional lines of communication with students regarding expectations and safety standards.
Emergency Response: Respond calmly to emergencies or unexpected road situations.

Requirements & Qualifications
We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and safety-minded individuals to join our transportation team.
Valid BC Class 2 driver’s license.
A clean driving record is required.
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
Previous experience is preferred but not required; training is available.
First Aid Level 1 certification (required; however, candidates may attend school-arranged sessions if they do not currently hold it).
