Job Description
Valley Christian Academy (VCA) is seeking Substitute Teachers to join our vibrant, distinctively Christian learning community. We are looking for caring, flexible, and dependable individuals who are passionate about helping students learn and grow in a Christ-centered environment.
Position: Substitute Teacher
Location: Valley Christian Academy, Osler, Saskatchewan
Start Date: Ongoing / As Needed
Hours: On-call, school hours (8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
Key DUTIES & Responsibilities
Deliver lessons and provide classroom supervision in the absence of the regular teacher.
Maintain a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
Follow lesson plans and classroom routines as outlined by the teacher or administration.
Support the academic, social, and spiritual development of students.
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate (or in process of obtaining).
Demonstrated classroom management and communication skills.
Agreement with and support of VCA’s Christian mission and values.
Prior teaching experience is an asset, but not required.
