Position summary
We are seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher (40% position) to join our staff. The successful candidate will deliver engaging English and high school elective lessons to students, support their academic growth, and help integrate Christian perspectives throughout the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Teach English language arts and elective classes to assigned grade(s) with creativity and professionalism.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with provincial curriculum standards.
Provide timely assessment, feedback, and reporting on student progress.
Foster a positive, respectful, and Christ-centered classroom environment.
Support students’ spiritual development by integrating a Biblical worldview into instruction.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Job Description
Qualifications
Valid Saskatchewan Professional 'A' Teaching Certificate (or eligibility).
Strong knowledge of English language arts curriculum and effective instructional strategies.
Commitment to Christian education and willingness to support the mission and values of the school.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
