We are excited to be announce that not only are we not cancelling the upcoming Summer Institute Conference, but we are making it more affordable and more available to a wider audience.
ACSIWC exists to increase the effectiveness of your school. In pursuit of this objective, we started a summer institute for educational excellence several years ago. Our teachers and leaders want to improve their practice, but one-day events are often not enough to achieve this. On the other hand, many are not ready to pursue a post-secondary degree. As a result of these limitations, we created a 4 day intensive training experience focused on application of skills.
Using Zoom we will offer the courses in Biblical Worldview Integration and in Resilient, Future Ready Leadership in these turbulent times. Issues that will be focused on in the administrator stream are financial strategies for a flourishing school, effective team based planning and implementation, and vision casting in difficult times to maintain a high commitment to the mission of the school.

COURSE 1 [Teacher Stream] BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW INTEGRATION: CREATING THE CHRIST-SATURATED CLASSROOM The most effective Christian school classroom will demonstrate every day, in all areas of classroom activity that Jesus is the one who holds all things together and makes all knowledge connected and meaningful.

COURSE 2 [Administrator Stream] RESILIENT, FUTURE READY LEADERSHIP There is an Educational Leadership crisis developing according to recent data. Too few teachers are embracing leadership opportunities. The reasons for this are not clear yet, but the growing complex challenges of leading schools is surely one of the reasons. Leaders today need to be resilient but not enough is being done to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for resilience. In this year’s institute the focus will be on helping both current and emerging school leaders to increase their passion and perseverance as school leaders. In these challenging days leaders with the right knowledge and skills will be able to tackle present and future challenges and continue to lead flourishing Christian school communities.
