Job Description

We are seeking an Education Assistant to work with students in the family home for the 2026-27 school year. This is a part-time contract position that may grow in hours over the course of the school year, depending on student needs and EA skillsets.

Location: Williams Lake, BC
Grade: 10 (School Completion Certificate Program)
Schedule: 6+ hours per week, flexible during school hours

As the Education Assistant your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the behavioural and academic needs of students, providing mentorship to the whole person

  • Encouraging positive study habits, executive functioning and life skills

  • Differentiating learning based on student ability and learning styles

  • Collaborating with the Case Manager and the parent to support personalized learning opportunities

  • Assisting in carrying out IEP goals, working alongside the broader student support team


Job Requirements

  • Background working in Education, EA Support, Behaviour Intervention, or with children/youth with ASD and PDA.
