Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the EA office, administration, educators, and educational assistants (EAs).

  • Facilitate communication to assess EA needs and ensure appropriate placement.
    Collaborate with recruitment teams to address hiring needs related to turnover and program growth.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an onboarding process for new EAs.

  • Manage budget requests, including adjustments and cancellations.

  • Work closely with the EA office to oversee budget allocation and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.

  • Process invoices related to EA services on a monthly basis.

  • Coordinate with leadership to plan and implement professional development opportunities.

  • Conduct regular check-ins with EAs to provide support and address concerns.

  • Prepare and distribute communication materials, such as newsletters and emails.

  • Assist with the coordination of virtual meetings.

  • Contribute to planning and the implementation of new systems and procedures.

  • Facilitate the annual Expression of Interest process for EAs.

  • Travel to Community Connections locations within local region as required

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates a commitment to, and a lifestyle reflective of, the KCCS Foundational Beliefs

  • Experience in educational administration or a related field

  • Familiarity with the culture of CC/CC+ environments

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders

  • Ability to manage budgets efficiently

  • Experienced in recruitment and onboarding

  • Technologically proficient in Microsoft Suite, G-Suite, Zoom, and time and task management programs, etc.
