Job Description

Pacific Academy is seeking a passionate and flexible ADST/STEM teacher to join our Intermediate School (Grades 3-5). This is a 0.2 FTE position, spread across three days (Tuesday to Thursday), covering 8 blocks.

The ideal candidate will bring creativity and a love for science, technology, engineering, and math while integrating a biblical worldview into their teaching. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and a willingness to support other classes as needed across grade levels. We value collaborative, mission-minded educators who are committed to nurturing students both academically and spiritually.


Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Successful candidates should:

  • Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate

  • Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education

  • Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith

  • Have experience working in an elementary education environment. Experience working with special needs children would be an asset

  • Be a team player

  • Be fluent in oral and written English

  • Experience teaching ADST classes and guiding students through Design Thinking processes is considered an asset
