Job Description
The Position:
Flex Academy has an opening for a K-9 Music Teacher for the 2026-27 school year! This is a part-time (0.37 FTE) position, working 15 hours per week. Flex Academy teachers educate students within a flexible educational model and support their academic, spiritual, and social-emotional growth with a focus on individualized education.
As a Flex Academy Teacher, your duties and responsibilities will include:
Deliver quality instruction for both academic and spiritual growth of student
Plan, teach, assess and report, while maintaining good classroom management
Collaborate with other departments as necessary
Plan field trips and participate in school and staff meetings, and parents meetings as required
Maintaining consistent communication with students, families and staff
Actively participate as member of staff team

Competitive wage: $19,723 – $32,862* based on 0.37 FTE, depending upon years of experience and education level. *Please note that amounts are currently based on 2025-26 wages and will be adjusted for the 2026-27 school year
