As a central division of the Society, Regent Christian Academy (RCA) is our flagship campus-based school, serving the community through our Sullivan and Cloverdale campuses in Surrey, BC. We bring the RCAS mission to life through a vibrant, in-person learning community where students from Preschool through Grade 12 engage in rigorous academics, competitive athletics, and the fine arts. At RCA, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment where classroom excellence and spiritual mentorship prepare students to lead and serve with integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
Overview: The Teacher On Call (TOC) is expected to be professional, adaptable, and faith-driven educators to join our dynamic K-12 team. RCA has been a staple of the Surrey community since 1978, offering a Christ-centered, high-quality education on a beautiful 39-acre campus. With 720 students on-site and a robust Distributed Learning program serving 1,700 additional students, you will be joining a well-established and thriving educational community.

  • Instructional Continuity: Follow prepared lesson plans with excellence to ensure student learning continues in the teacher’s absence.

  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, nurturing, and orderly classroom environment.

  • Spiritual Mentorship: Model Christian integrity and provide spiritual leadership to students throughout the school day.

  • Adaptability: Quickly adjust to various grade levels (K-12) and subject areas as needed

Requirements & Qualifications

  • To be considered for our TOC list, applicants must demonstrate a commitment to both educational excellence and Christian mentorship.

  • Certification: Valid British Columbia Teaching Certificate or equivalent. (Note: Applicants eligible for a Letter of Permission may be considered for the non-certified rate).

  • Faith Alignment: Active involvement in an evangelical Christian church and a personal commitment to Jesus Christ.

  • Agreement: Must affirm and work in alignment with the RCAS Statement of Faith and Community Standards
