Job Description

The Position:
We are looking for a BC Certified Teacher to teach in-person at our Penticton Community Connections+ program location. Community Connections Plus (CC+) are in-person learning opportunities that are one full day per week for 30 weeks where students collaborate in a class setting with a home-education flavour with a focus on meaningful and hands-on learning activities. CC+ classes are led by BC certified teachers fully responsible for covering all CC+ course outcomes.

Art, PHE, Social Studies, Science (Grades 3/4). 0.26 FTE, one day per week (Thursday) on-site for 30 weeks in Penticton, BC. 2026-27 school year.


Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • BC Teacher Certification

  • Previous experience teaching relevant subjects

  • Previous experience teaching CC/CC+ is preferred

  • Ability to build relationships and work relationally with students, parents, coordinator and other team members

  • Flexible attitude towards adapting to students and situations

  • Demonstrate alignment with the following attitudes and attributes:
