Job Description

Pacific Academy is seeking applications from qualified individuals for a full-time administrative assistant position in the Intermediate School beginning August 23, 2026. This position is Monday–Friday (7:30 am – 4 pm) when school is in session. The position will begin in August during new staff onboarding days. Exact dates to be confirmed.


Job Requirements

Successful candidate should:

  • Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith.

  • Submit to a Criminal Record Check

  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and relate effectively with students, parents, staff, and visitors.

  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment while also working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrate proficiency with technology, including Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Classroom, etc.), and show the ability to learn new software systems quickly.

  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

  • Have genuine care for students and a commitment to serving families.

  • Be highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a busy school environment.

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and sound judgment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, creating a welcoming and professional office environment.

  • Manage office communications, including telephone, email, mail, and in-person inquiries.

  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, correspondence, record keeping, photocopying, and ordering supplies.

  • Provide administrative support to the Principal, Vice Principal, teachers, and other school staff.

  • Maintain accurate student and school records using school information systems.

  • Attend to student health needs as required.

  • Assist with the coordination of school events, activities, and communications.

  • Support the efficient daily operation of the school office.

  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Head of School or Principal
