Job Description
Cornerstone Christian Academy (CCA) is seeking a 0.5 FTE Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. Cornerstone is located in the hamlet of Kingman, Alberta, approximately 15 miles north of Camrose and 20 miles southwest of Tofield. Cornerstone is an independent, interdenominational Christian school that delivers the Alberta Program of Studies from a Christian perspective to students from Kindergarten through Grade Twelve. • Ability to create and maintain positive rapport & relationships with students of all ages and grade levels
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to building effective partnerships with parents, community, the school team and other stakeholders
• A commitment to continuous professional development in Christian education and teaching practices
• Adheres to applicable policies and procedures
Qualifications:
• Agrees to and adheres to the CCA Statement of Faith – without reservation
• Bachelor of Education
• AB Permanent or Interim Teaching Certificate
• The Teacher must be a born again Christian, with active participation in a local church
• Successful applicants will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check
