Position Expectations
The Special Education Teacher will:
Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with exceptionalities
Work closely with classroom teachers, educational assistants, and parents to support diverse learners
Use evidence-based strategies to provide direct support and differentiated instruction
Foster a nurturing and respectful environment that reflects Christian values
Maintain open, ongoing communication with staff and families
Be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold (or be eligible for) BC teacher certification, with specialization or training in special education
