AJ Crocker
Executive Director, ACSI Western Canada
AJ Crocker is the Executive Director of ACSI Western Canada, serving and resourcing Christian schools across the region. AJ spent the previous 17 years serving in Christian education, primarily at Briercrest Christian Academy, College & Seminary, where he has led high school discipleship, conferences like Youth Quake, public relations, and marketing. For the past six years, he has served as Vice-President, guiding organizational design, budget processes, and strategic communication. On the side, AJ has enjoyed being a conference speaker and organizer with various associations and ministries such as Youth Worker Community. With a BA in Youth Ministry and an MBA in Digital Marketing, AJ is passionate about helping Christian schools thrive as places of spiritual transformation.
He and his wife, Cheryl—an ACSI high school teacher—have three kids. AJ is a devoted (and long-suffering) Toronto Maple Leafs fan, a sneaker-head on a budget, and a proud hockey and dance dad.
Karen Daniels
Director of Field Operations, ACSI Western Canada
Karen Daniels came to teaching and administration later in life after a career in business, finance, and marketing. She has worked in both the public and independent school systems. Karen’s newest adventure is working with ACSIWC as the Director of Field Operations. Karen facilitates a network of support for school leadership and boards. Karen works with schools to build the best foundation of learning through sound business, academic, and relational practices.

Teacher, Who Are You? (EAs, Who Are You?)
This session will explore your gifts, talents, style, and personality as a teacher. Know your teaching self and the strengths and weaknesses you bring to the classroom. Know how your style can enhance curriculum delivery and classroom management.

Student, Who Are You?
Practical strategies to know your students and encourage them to take ownership of their learning. Various strategies and how these might work with different teaching styles will be discussed.
