Requirements/ Description:
Pacific Academy is seeking a dynamic, educational leader with a proven record of exemplary teaching and leadership commencing August 20, 2024. This position is 0.5 Vice-Principal and 0.5 teaching in the High School. The successful applicant will work collaboratively as part of the leadership team at Pacific Academy.
The Successful Candidate will:
• In collaboration with the High School Principal, efficiently and effectively lead in all areas including - education, spiritual, financial and organizational
• Demonstrate personal accountability and professional growth
• Implement innovative practices for student success
• Support the development of competency-based learning
• Use relevant data to engage in instructional practices for improved student achievement
• Have a master’s degree from a recognized university, be working toward a Master’s degree or have relevant administrative experience
• Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
• Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
• Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
• Be fluent in oral and written English
• Recognized as a passionate learner and a thought-leader
• Collaboratively-minded, being adept at working with staff across all levels and disciplines
• An exceptional communicator
