Job Description
We are looking for a grade 8/9 generalist teacher to teach a split 8/9 class two days a week and a straight grade 9 class three days a week. This will include all subject areas including drama, applied skills and PE.
Job Requirements
Successful candidate MUST be a dedicated Christian and a serving member of a local church. Must hold a valid BC teaching certificate. Absolutely must be a team player, flexible and willing to participate in extra curricular activities. Duties include the ability to set up a classroom for optimal learning, evaluate students effectively using a variety of methods, adapt lessons to meet student needs and be able to report on student learning in a timely and effective manner using BC standards.
