Position Title: High School Teachers — Quesnel, BC
Reports to: Vice Principal
Regent Christian Academy Society serves children and families across our campus schools, online school, and early learning programs. As a key division of the Society, Regent Christian Online Academy (RCOA) specializes in partnering with home-learning families to provide a flexible, high-quality K-12 education. We bring the RCAS mission to life as a Provincial Online Learning School, offering innovative onsite and virtual programming across British Columbia. At RCOA, we are dedicated to providing a personalized educational journey that inspires lifelong learning and fosters spiritual growth in every student.
Overview
RCOA is seeking talented, enthusiastic High School Teachers to join our dynamic team. We provide a high-quality, flexible education to British Columbia students and are committed to fostering academic growth and personal development. This is a general recruitment call for educators looking to build their own portfolio of work in a supportive, Christ-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
Subject-Specific Instruction: Lead specialized courses such as Culinary Arts and/or PEH/Active Living (Quesnel), Gr. 10-12.
Curriculum & Mentorship: Provide academic oversight and mentorship to teens, fostering an environment that inspires lifelong learning and spiritual growth.
Collaborative Partnership: Partner effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to support home-learning families.
System Management: Utilize online learning management systems to deliver content and track student progress in a dynamic digital environment.
Professional Development: Attend mandatory onsite training sessions three times per year in the Lower Mainland or Vancouver Island.

Compensation & Benefits
Pay: CA $ 49,721 – $ 83,390 annually at the determined FTE

Job Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
Certification: Must be a teacher certified by the B.C. Teacher Regulation Branch (BCTRB), the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools (OIIS), or possess a valid Letter of Permission (LOP).
Experience: Experience and education related to working with students in online learning, competency-based assessment, and project-based learning is an asset.
Travel: Participate in Professional Development 3-4 times per year. Dates for the 2026-27 school year are:
New Teacher Training (Virtual) – August 28
Orientation In Person (Mainland) – September 1
Orientation (Virtual) – September 2
Collaboration #1 (Virtual) – Elementary: November 12, High School: November 18 (3:00 – 7:00 p.m.)
Collaboration #2 (Virtual or In-person) – Elementary: February 17, High School: February 18 (3:00 – 7:00 p.m.)
