Meet Our Guest Conductors
Sr. Choir Guest Conductor: Elsie Eelhart
Elsie is a retired schoolteacher having taught in BC and Alberta for over 40 years. During this time, she has participated in and led school, church, and community choirs. Her choirs have received numerous awards and enjoyed going on tour both locally and provincially. Currently, she works as a substitute teacher with Lethbridge School Division.
Sr. Band Guest Conductor: James Caswell
James Caswell (B.Mus. Mus.Ed., M.Ed.), retired educator and credentialed minister, is a long-time friend of Musicale bringing 40 years experience conducting concert and jazz bands, orchestras, choirs, vocal jazz, guitar and African percussion ensembles. He is honoured to direct the Sr. Band this year.
Jr. Band Guest Conductor: Charlene Heins
For more than 30 years, Charlene has led choirs and bands in both schools and community groups, guiding students to discover the joy of making music together. Now teaching at Providence Christian School, she continues to inspire young musicians to use their gifts for God’s glory. Her groups have excelled at festivals over the years, but her greatest joy is watching students grow in confidence and in their love of praising the Lord through music.
