Guest Conductors
Charlene Heins—Jr. Band
For more than 30 years, Charlene has led choirs and bands in both schools and community groups, guiding students to discover the joy of making music together. Now teaching at Providence Christian School, she continues to inspire young musicians to use their gifts for God’s glory. Her groups have excelled at festivals over the years, but her greatest joy is watching students grow in confidence and in their love of praising the Lord through music.
James Caswell—Sr. Band
James is the Fine Arts Coordinator at White Rock Christian Academy. He has been active in music ministry and education for over 30 years. An instrumental specialist, James has taught music in Manitoba and BC for over 20 years and his ensembles have won numerous awards.
Elsie Eelhart—Choir
Elsie is a retired schoolteacher having taught in BC and Alberta for over 40 years. During this time, she has participated and led school, church, and community choirs. Her choirs have received numerous awards and enjoyed going on tour both locally and provincially. Currently, she works as a substitute teacher with Lethbridge School Division.
